Abstract: Let be an affine algebra over an algebraically closed field of characteristic with dim. Let be a projective -module of rank with determinant . Suppose is an ideal of of height such that there are two surjections and . Assume that either (a) and or (b) is arbitrary but is even. Then has a unimodular element.
