Existence and uniqueness of solutions for the second order periodic-integrable boundary value problem

A periodic-integral boundary value problem for a second order differential equation is considered. Firstly, an auxiliary existence and uniqueness result for a linear equation is proved, then the obtained result is applied to investigate the existence of solutions to the nonlinear equation by Schauder's fixed point theorem.
