Abstract: Let be a mixed characteristic complete discrete valuation ring, let and be two smooth formal -schemes, let : be a projective morphism between their special fibers, let be a divisor of such that is a divisor of and let . We construct the relative duality isomorphism . This generalizes the known case when there exists a lifting of . Moreover, when is a closed immersion, we prove that this isomorphism commutes with Frobenius.
