Abstract: We study both averaging and maximal averaging problems for Product -varieties defined by for where denotes a -dimensional vector space over the finite field with elements. We prove the sharp boundedness of averaging operators associated to Product -varieties. We also obtain the optimal estimate for a maximal averaging operator related to a family of Product -varieties
