From MaRDI portal

Abstract: On a metric measure space satisfying the doubling property, we establish several optimal characterizations of Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces, including a pointwise characterization. Moreover, we discuss their (non)triviality under a Poincar'e inequality.
