Abstract: Let Xm,dsubsetmathbbPN, , be the order d Veronese embedding of mathbbPm. Let au(Xm,d)subsetmathbbPN, be the tangent developable of Xm,d. For each integer tge2 let au(Xm,d,t)subseteqmathbbPN, be the joint of au(Xm,d) and t2 copies of Xm,d. Here we prove that if mge2, dge7 and , then for a general Pinau(Xm,d,t) there are uniquely determined P1,...,Pt2inXm,d and a unique tangent vector u of Xm,d such that P is in the linear span of ucupP1,...,Pt2, i.e. a degree d linear form f associated to P may be written as f = L_{t-1}^{d-1}L_t + sum_{i=1}^{t-2} L_i^d with Li, 1leilet, uniquely determined (up to a constant) linear forms on mathbbPm.
