Abstract: Let $f(n)$ be a multiplicative function satisfying $|f(n)|leq1$, $q$ $(leq{N}^2)$ be a positive integer and $a$ be an integer with $(a,,q)=1$. In this paper, we shall prove that ${\displaystyle }$sum_{substack{nleq N\ (n,,q)=1}}f(n)e({a�ar{n}over q})llsqrt{ au(q)over q}Nloglog(6N)+q^{{1over 4}+{epsilonover 2}}N^{1over 2}(log(6N))^{1over 2}+{Nover sqrt{loglog(6N)}},${\displaystyle }$ where $$ is the multiplicative inverse of $n$ such that $$ is the divisor function.
