Abstract: From large cardinals we show the consistency of normal, fine, $kappa$-complete $lambda$-dense ideals on $mathcal{P}_{k}appa(lambda)$ for successor $kappa$. We explore the interplay between dense ideals, cardinal arithmetic, and squares, answering some open questions of Foreman.
