Abstract: A measurable map on a measure space induces a representation of a Cuntz algebra when satisfies a certain condition. For such two maps and and representations and associated with them, we show that is the restriction of when is a jump transformation of . Especially, the Gauss map and the Farey map induce representations of and that of , respectively, and with respect to a certain embedding of into .
