Abstract: Let mathcalA be a von Neumann algebra and mathcalM be a Banach mathcalAmodule. It is shown that for every homomorphisms sigma,au on mathcalA, every bounded linear map f:mathcalAomathcalM with property that f(p2)=sigma(p)f(p)+f(p)au(p) for every projection p in mathcalA is a (sigma,au)derivation. Also, it is shown that a bounded linear map f:mathcalAomathcalM which satisfies f(ab)=sigma(a)f(b)+f(a)au(b) for all a,binmathcalA with ab=S, is a (sigma,au) derivation if au(S) is left invertible for fixed S.
