Abstract: For any noncompact semisimple real Lie group $G$, we construct a group of affine transformations of its Lie algebra $mathfrakg$ whose linear part is Zariski-dense in $operatornameAdG$ and which is free, nonabelian and acts properly discontinuously on $mathfrakg$.
