Abstract: Let be a -perfect -dimensional surjective map of metrizable spaces such that . It is shown that, for every positive integer there exists a dense -subset of with the source limitation topology such that if , then each fiber of contains at most points. This result provides a proof of two hypotheses of S. Bogatyi, V. Fedorchuk and J. van Mill.
