Abstract: In this article, we study the stability of the space of asymptotic fermion states in (2+1)D, when long range interparticle interactions are present. This is done in the framework of bosonization, where the fermion propagator can be represented in terms of a vortex correlator. In particular, we discuss possible instabilities in the large distance behavior of the induced action for the vortex worldline.
