Abstract: For a maximal separable subfield of a central simple algebra , we provide a semiring isomorphism between --bimodules and - bisets of , where , is the Galois closure of , and . This leads to a combinatorial interpretation of the growth of , for fixed , especially in terms of Kummer sets.
