Abstract: For $C^{*}$-algebras $A_1,A_2$ the map $(I_1,I_2)oker(q_{I_1}otimes{q}_{I_2})$ from $I{d}^{prime}(A_1)imesI{d}^{prime}(A_2)$ into $I{d}^{prime}(A_{1}otime{s}_{mathrmmin}{A}_2)isahomeomorphismontoitsimagewhichisdenseintherange.Here,fora$C^*$-algebra$A$,thespaceofallproperclosedtwosidedidealsendowedwithanadequatetopologyisdenoted$Id^{prime}(A)$and$q_I$isthequotientmapof$A$onto$A/I$.Newproofsoftheequivalenceoftheproperty(F)ofTomiyamafor$A_1otimes_{mathrm{min}} A_2$ with certain other properties are presented.
