Abstract: In this paper, we will first show that the maximal operator Salpha of spherical partial sums SRalpha, associated to Dunkl transform on mathbbR is bounded on Lp(mathbbR,|x|2alpha+1dx) functions when frac4(alpha+1)2alpha+3<p<frac4(alpha+1)2alpha+1, and it implies that, for every Lp(mathbbR,|x|2alpha+1dx) function f(x), SRalphaf(x) converges to f(x) almost everywhere as Roinfty. On the other hand we obtain a sharp version by showing that Salpha is bounded from the Lorentz space Lpi,1(mathbbR,|x|2alpha+1) into Lpi,infty(mathbbR,|x|2alpha+1),quadi=0,1 where p0=frac4(alpha+1)2alpha+3 and p1=frac4(alpha+1)2alpha+1.
