Abstract: For any transversal-Courant algebroid $E$ on a foliated manifold $(M,mathcalF)$, and for any choice of a decomposition $TM=TmathcalFoplusQ$, we construct a Courant algebroid structure on $TmathcalFoplus{T}^{\ast }mathcalFoplusE$.
