Abstract: We give sufficient conditions for the naturallity of the exterior differential under Sobolev mappings. In other words we study the validity of the equation $d{f}^{\ast }alpha=f^{\ast }dalpha$ for a smooth form $alpha$ and a Sobolev map $f$.
