Abstract: A rank one local system on a smooth complex algebraic variety is admissible roughly speaking if the dimension of the cohomology groups can be computed directly from the cohomology algebra . We say that a line arrangement is of type if is the minimal number of lines in containing all the points of multiplicity at least 3. We show that if is a line arrangement in the classes for , then any rank one local system on the line arrangement complement is admissible. Partial results are obtained for the class .
