Abstract: Let phissinS be a commutative semigroup of completely positive, contractive, and weak*-continuous linear maps acting on a von Neumann algebra N. Assume there exists a semigroup alphassinS of weak*-continuous *-endomorphisms of some larger von Neumann algebra MsupsetN and a projection pinM with N=pMp such that alphas(1p)le1p for every sinS and phis(y)=palphas(y)p for all yinN. If infsinSalphas(1p)=0 then we show that the map E:MoN defined by E(x)=pxp for xinM induces a complete isometry between the fixed point spaces of alphassinS and phissinS.
