Abstract: If g is a map from a space X into mathbbRm and zoting(X), let P2,1,m(g,z) be the set of all lines Pi1subsetmathbbRm containing z such that |g1(Pi1)|geq2. We prove that for any n-dimensional metric compactum X the functions gcolonXomathbbRm, where mgeq2n+1, with dimP2,1,m(g,z)leq0 for all zoting(X) form a dense Gdelta-subset of the function space C(X,mathbbRm). A parametric version of the above theorem is also provided.
