Abstract: Suppose S is an affine, noetherian scheme, X is a separated, noetherian S-scheme, mathcalE is a coherent mathcalOX-bimodule and mathcalIsubsetT(mathcalE) is a graded ideal. We study the geometry of the functor Gamman of flat families of truncated mathcalB=T(mathcalE)/mathcalI-point modules of length n+1. We then use the results of our study to show that the point modules over mathcalB are parameterized by the closed points of mathbbPX2(mathcalE). When X=mathbbP1, we construct, for any mathcalB-point module, a graded mathcalOXmathcalB-bimodule resolution.
