Abstract: Let be a connected quiver with no oriented cycles, the field of complex numbers and a projective representation of . We study the adjoint action of the automorphism group on the space of radical endomorphisms . Using generic equivalence, we show that the quiver has the property that there exists a dense open -orbit in , for all projective representations , if and only if is a Dynkin quiver. This gives a new characterisation of Dynkin quivers.
