Abstract: The M"obius configuration is generalized in a purely combinatorial approach. We consider configurations depending on a permutation in the symmetric group . Classes of non-isomorphic configurations of this type are determined. The parametric characterization of is given. The uniqueness of the decomposition of into two mutually inscribed -simplices is discussed. The automorphisms of are characterized for .
