Abstract: We prove that for a stable theory $T,$ if $M$ is a saturated model of $T$ of cardinality $lambda$ where $$ then $Aut(M)$ has a dense free subgroup on $2^{lambda}$ generators. This affirms a conjecture of Hodges.
