Abstract: Let be an real expanding matrix and be a finite subset of with . The self-affine set is the unique compact set satisfying the set-valued equation . In the case where we relate the Lebesgue measure of to the upper Beurling density of the associated measure If, on the other hand, and is a similarity matrix, we relate the Hausdorff measure , where is the similarity dimension of , to a corresponding notion of upper density for the measure .
