Abstract: Multistring solutions of the string equations of motion are found for inflationary spacetimes with expansion factor for any and conformal time. If only two-string solutions can be found within our ansatz, whereas for , with , multistring solutions exist with an infinite number of strings [In the special case we recover de Sitter spacetime where multistring solutions were first found].
