Absolute continuity of the best Sobolev constant

Abstract: Let $lambd{a}_q:=infVertablauVer{t}_{L^p(Omega)}^p/VertuVer{t}_{L^q(Omega)}^p:uin{W}_0^{1,p}(Omega)setminus0$, where $Omega$ is a bounded and smooth domain of $mathbb{R}^N,$ $1<p<N$ and $1leqqleq{p}^{star}\mathrm{\%}:=fracNpN-p.$ We prove that the function $qmapstolambd{a}_q$ is absolutely continuous in the closed interval $[1,p^{star}].$
