Abstract: We prove that has on a mild solution (that is bounded and uniformly continuous), where is the generator of a -semigroup on the Banach space with resolvent satisfying , , with some , and . As a consequence it is shown that if is the space of almost periodic, almost automorphic, bounded Levitan almost periodic or certain classes of recurrent functions and as above is such that for each , then . These results seem new and strengthen several recent theorems.
