Abstract: For a Borel set and a homogeneous Poisson point process in of intensity , define the Poisson--Voronoi approximation of as a union of all Voronoi cells with nuclei from lying in . If has a finite volume and perimeter we find an exact asymptotic of as where is the Lebesgue measure. Estimates for all moments of and together with their asymptotics for large are obtained as well.
