Abstract: Let be a smooth complex elliptic curve and a connected reductive affine algebraic group defined over . Let denote the moduli space of topologically trivial algebraic --connections on , that is, pairs of the form , where is a topologically trivial algebraic principal --bundle on , and is an algebraic connection on . We prove that does not admit any nonconstant algebraic function while being biholomorphic to an affine variety.
