Abstract: In the present paper, we show that, for every delta>0, the function (logmathcalL(s))(m), where minmathbbNcup0 and mathcalL(s):=sumn=1inftya(n)ns is an element of the Selberg class mathcalS, takes any value infinitely often in any strip 1<Re(s)<1+delta, provided sumpleqx|a(p)|2simkappapi(x) for some kappa>0. In particular, mathcalL(s) takes any non-zero value infinitely often in the strip 1<Re(s)<1+delta, and the first derivative of mathcalL(s) vanishes infinitely often.
