Abstract: We consider the 3D incompressible Navier-Stokes equations under the following -dimensional situation: vertical vortex blob (quasi-streamwise vortices) being stretched by two-dimensional shear flow. We prove enhanced dissipation induced by such quasi-streamwise vortices.
