Abstract: Let be a prime number and be a primitive cube root of unity. Then is a pure metacyclic field with group . In the case that possesses a -class group of type , the capitulation of -ideal classes of in its unramified cyclic cubic extensions is determined, and conclusions concerning the maximal unramified pro--extension of are drawn.
