A new Painleve-integrable equation possessing KdV-type solitons

Abstract: A new three-dimensional second-order nonlinear wave equation is introduced which passes the Painleve test for integrability and possesses KdV-type multisoliton solutions. Lax integrability of this equation remains unknown.
