Abstract: We study the Leibniz n-algebra extbfUn(mathfrakL), whose multiplication is defined via the bracket of a Leibniz algebra mathfrakL as [x1,dots,xn]=[x1,[dots,[xn2,[xn1,xn]]dots]]. We show that extbfUn(mathfrakL) is simple if and only if mathfrakL is a simple Lie algebra. An analogue of Levi's theorem for Leibniz algebras in extbfUn(extbfLb) is established and it is proven that the Leibniz n-kernel of extbfUn(mathfrakL) for any semisimple Leibniz algebra mathfrakL is the n-algebra extbfUn(mathfrakL).
