A graph theoretic formula for the number of primes (n)
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let PR be the graph whose vertices are with vertex adjacent to vertex if and only if . It is shown that , the the number of primes no more than , equals the Lov'{a}sz number of this graph. This result suggests new avenues for graph-theoretic investigations of number-theoretic problems.
