Abstract: Let denote the set of coefficient vectors of contractive polynomials that have exactly pairs of complex conjugate roots and let be its (-dimensional) Lebesgue measure. We settle the instance of a conjecture by Akiyama and PethH{o}, stating that the ratio is an integer for all Moreover we establish the surprisingly simple formula where are the Legendre polynomials.
