Abstract: Information geometrical structure $(g^{(D_{a}lpha)},abl{a}^{(D_{a}lpha)},abl{a}^{(D_{a}lpha)\ast })$ induced from the sandwiched R'enyi $alpha$-divergence $D_{a}lpha(ho|sigma):=frac1alpha(alpha-1)log,mTrleft(sigm{a}^{frac1-alpha2alpha}ho,sigm{a}^{frac1-alpha2alpha}ight{)}^{alpha}$ on a finite quantum state space $mathcalS$ is studied. It is shown that the Riemannian metric $g^{(D_{a}lpha)}$ is monotone if and only if $alphain(-infty,-1]cup[frac12,infty)$, and that the quantum statistical manifold $(mathcalS,g^{(D_{a}lpha)},abl{a}^{(D_{a}lpha)},abl{a}^{(D_{a}lpha)\ast })$ is dually flat if and only if $alpha=1$.
