Abstract: One of the most robust relationships predicted by binary tetrahedral () flavor symmetry relates the reactor neutrino angle to the atmospheric neutrino angle , independently of . It has the form . When this prediction first appeared in 2008, was consistent with zero and with . Non-zero was established by Daya Bay in 2012. Non-zero is now favored by the NOA experiment and, for , the aforementioned relation selects the second octant () over the first octant (). This analysis initially assumes CP conservation in the lepton sector, but leptonic CP violation is discussed and it is shown that this specific relationship is invariant.
