Abstract: Let pin(0,fracNN2alpha), alphain(0,1) and OmegasubsetRN be a bounded C2 domain containing 0. If delta0 is the Dirac measure at 0 and k>0, we prove that the weakly singular solution uk of (Ek) (Delta)alphau+up=kdelta0 in Omega which vanishes in Omegac, is a classical solution of (E) (Delta)alphau+up=0 in Omegasetminus0 with the same outer data. When frac2alphaN2alphaleq1+frac2alphaN, pin(0,1+frac2alphaN] we show that the uk converges to infty in whole Omega when koinfty, while, for pin(1+frac2alphaN,fracNN2alpha), the limit of the uk is a strongly singular solution of (E). The same result holds in the case 1+frac2alphaN<frac2alphaN2alpha excepted if $frac{2alpha}{N}
