Abstract: Let $G$ be a group, $$ is the Stone-$checkC$ech compactification of $$ endowed with the structure of a right topological semigroup, $$. Given any subset $A$ of $G$ and $pin{G}^{\ast }$, we define the $p$-companion $v{t}_p(A)=A^{\ast }capGp$ of $A$, and characterize the subsets with finite and discrete ultracompanions.
