The paper is a study of interpolation of commutative Banach algebras. It describes the Gel'fand space of maximal ideals for the interpolated Banach algebras. The interpolation of algebras of bounded analytic functions in the complex plane, given in the paper, is very interesting. Also, in the paper there are generalizations of the results of several authors. The paper is well presented and will be useful to many researchers in various ways. The paper contains several examples, comments, remarks and some open problems which may be pleasant to many interested researchers and specialists. The paper is well worth reading for its style and richness of ideas.
