Exceptional collections for mirrors of invertible polynomials
Favero-Kaplan-Kelly give a full exceptional collection for the derived category of matrix factorizations of an invertible polynomial \(w\) with symmetry group \(\Gamma_w\) using variation of GIT techniques. The authors produce a full exceptional collection for all three cases of Fermat, chain, and loop type polynomials which invertible polynomials decompose into. This collection cannot always consist of line bundles. Milnor numbers are used for loop polynomials and chain polynomials. This is studied as a proposed mirror of the transposed invertible polynomial \(w^T\).
