Vector bundles on curves and their moduli (14H60)

Abstract: Given a curve in a (smooth) projective variety $CsubsetX$, we show that a vector bundle $V$ on C can be extended to a ($mu$-stable) vector bundle on $X$ if $extrank(V)geqextdim(X)$ and $extdet(V)$ extends to $X$.
