Abstract: Let be a number field, and let and be distinct unitary cuspidal automorphic representations of and respectively. In this paper, we derive new lower bounds for the Rankin-Selberg -function along the edge of the critical strip in the -aspect. The corresponding zero-free region for is also determined.
