Characterization theorem for strict third-degree semiclassical forms of class one obtained via cubic decomposition
The author aims to construct a description of a family of semiclassical forms of class one. Specifically, he uses a cubic decomposition to determine this class, i.e., the third degree character of forms whose corresponding sequences of orthogonal polynomials are a cubic decomposition of some other semiclassical orthogonal polynomials of class one. As a result, with the aid of the Stieltjes function and the moments of those forms, the author provides necessary and sufficient conditions describing and identifying each of these forms along with their connection to the classical Jacobi form.
