Abstract: We use the enclosure method to detect and reconstruct unknown inclusions within a body using boundary measurements, where the governing equation is semilinear elliptic equations with the Laplacian leading term and power type nonlinearities. A significant challenge in applying the enclosure method to this nonlinear equations is constructing suitable test data. To overcome this, we incorporate an idea of higher order linearization methods to obtain approximate solutions. Additionally, by setting an appropriate indicator functional, interestingly, CGO solutions for Laplace equations can be utilized to construct test data.
