Abstract: Let be an elliptic curve. The modified Szpiro ratio of is the quantity where and are the invariants associated to a global minimal model of , and denotes the conductor of . In this article, we show that for each of the fifteen torsion subgroups allowed by Mazur's Torsion Theorem, there is a rational number such that if , then . We also show that this bound is sharp.
