On the Karatsuba divisor problem

Abstract: We obtain an upper bound for the sum $Ph{i}_a(x)=su{m}_{plex}1/(au(p+a))$, where $au(n)$ is the divisor function, $age1$ is a fixed integer, and $p$ run through primes up to $x$.
